Following the successful repositioning and sale of the high-rise office buildings in the Westwood Market area of Los Angeles, Hines was hired in 1997 by Heitman Capital Management to reposition the 10100 Santa Monica building in Century City, one of the premier commercial submarkets in southern California. The office building had recently been purchased by an out-of-state pension fund. Hines served as renovation manager and currently serves as property manager and marketing/leasing manager for this 26-story, 605,657-square-foot office building. Building renovation included the refurbishment of the lobby, exterior plazas and other common areas, and upgrading the operational systems and services as well as providing new, on-site amenities. 10100 Santa Monica was completed in 1971. Building renovation was completed in the spring of 1999.
