10960 Wilshire is a 24-story, 533,000-square-foot office building located in the heart of the Westwood/Wilshire commercial corridor in Los Angeles. In 1992, Hines was selected by the owner, a subsidiary of the Swiss Bank Corporation, to assist in overseeing the redevelopment of this 1970s property as well as to manage and lease the building. The redeveloment program included the addition of contrasting window tinting to heighten the building's verticality; expansion of the main lobby, creating additional natural lighting; installation of new stone flooring and natural finishes throughout the public spaces; and creation of an inviting park-like courtyard at the building's southern entrance. To make access to the building more convenient, a motor court drop-off was added at the southern entrance, and a new covered walkway was constructed between the garage and lobby. The building renovations were completed in mid-1994.
